The Show

Former Stars from the smash hit musical 'Mamma Mia!' have come together to perform a dazzling concert of ABBA’s sensational music.

 

Backed by a fabulous West End band, led by musical director Richard Weeden, this one-night concert spectacular is an evening no ABBA fan should miss!

ABOUT US

Squareleg have been organising and staging concerts, theatre and live entertainment for over 20 years.

Presenting an enormous variety of productions, from intimate parties to stadium concerts, we have been lucky enough to work with some of the world's greatest artists, including Neil Diamond, Rod Stewart, Sir Elton John, Bryan Adams, REM, Meatloaf and many others.

Our theatre work has seen us produce touring musicals and live shows for public and corporate clients across the UK.

We're as passionate today about presenting the very best live entertainment as we were all those years ago!

The Stars

The West End performers who've starred in the show

Jenna Lee James

Jenna has enjoyed a fabulous theatre career.  In addition to 'Mamma Mia!', she has performed in a variety of leading roles, including Mary in Rod Stewart’s, Tonight's the Night (UK Tour), Original cast of We Will Rock You, in which she played two leading roles, Meatloaf and Scaramouche (Dominion Theatre).

 

She became the only person in the world to have played all three female leading roles in We Will Rock You when she toured as Killer Queen in the 10th Anniversary World Arena tour. 

Norman Bowman

Norman starred in Mamma Mia! at The Prince of Wales Theatre, London playing the role of Sam Carmichael.

Born in Arbroath, Scotland, Norman was awarded a scholarship to train in Musical Theatre at The London Academy of Performing Arts.

A regular performer in the West End and across the UK, his theatre credits include: Pat Denning in 42nd Street, Directed by Mark Bramble
(Theatre Royal, Drury Lane), Eugene's Dad in Eugenius! - Directed by Ian Talbot and Michael Jibson (London Palladium), Billy Bigelow in Carousel - Directed by Angus Jackson (Chichester Festival Theatre), Danny Zuko in Grease (UK No.1 Tour)Marius in Les Miserables (West End and UK Tour)

Niamh Perry

 

Alongside her role as Sophie in 'Mamma Mia!', Niamh’s theatre credits include Girl in Once (Olympia, Dublin), Female Ghost in Whisper House (The Other Palace, London), Pandora in Exposure (St. James Theatre, London); Mary in the original London revival of Lloyd-Webber and Ben Elton's The Beautiful Game (The Union Theatre, London); Johanna in Sweeney Todd (Manchester Royal Exchange and West Yorkshire Playhouse).

 

Niamh’s Television credits include Every Saturday Night, a new TV drama, set in Sydney. I'd Do Anything BBC1;  Frankenstein's Wedding for BBC 3. 

Natalie Hope

Natalie is an experienced West End performer with a fabulous list of credits under her belt, including Alternate Eva Peron - Evita, Natalie - Commitments and Adelaide - Guys and Dolls. 


She also regularly performs as a concert vocalist. She was the lead female vocalist in the sell-out UK tour of  'An Evening of Queen' and recently supported classical crossover artists Thomas Spencer Wortley

Jon Boydon

Jon starred as Sam Carmichael in “Mamma Mia!” (UK Tour). He played the roles of Principal Gowan, Kurt’s Dad and Veronica’s Dad and is featured on the original London cast recording. Jon is best known for his six years with the London production of “Jersey Boys” where he played the role of Tommy Devito for over 2000 performances and appeared on numerous television shows and concert stages. 

 

In 2012 Jon released his debut solo album “Three Four”, a rock and blues project of which he is immensely proud and the popularity of which allowed for a successful crowdfunding project to finance the production of a new album.  Jon continues to be a popular choice for many live concerts and show bands all over the world and will performing as part of Sir Cliff Richard’s band as guitarist and vocalist. 

Bleu Woodward

 

Recently seen on “The Voice 2020” (ITV) as part of Team Olly Murs.

Bleu has appeared in The Aretha Franklin Songbook (Hackney Empire), Rhoda in White Christmas (Curve Theatre, Leicester), Emily in Knights Of The Rose (Arts Theatre), Nicola in Kinky Boots (Adelphi Theatre), The Girl With A Date in Blues In The Night (London Hippodrome), Diva in Priscilla Queen Of The Desert (UK Tour & Auckland, New Zealand), , Oh! What A Lovely War directed by Terry Johnson (Theatre Royal Stratford East & UK Tour), Penny Pingleton in Hairspray (Macau, China), South Pacific directed by Bartlett Sher (Barbican Centre & UK Tour), Lisa and Understudy Sophie in Mamma Mia! (International Tour).
